Pennsylvania Room Collection

The Pennsylvania Room is a genealogical and historical reference library, and serves as a destination for genealogy, history, and humanities researchers throughout the United States. It is part of Centre County Library & Historical Museum, a public library system, and is located in the Historical Museum building.

The Pennsylvania Room maintains a specialized reference collection of approximately 3,500 volumes on state, local, and family history, as well as original Centre County records, newspapers, manuscript genealogies, and genealogical indexes. These resources are non-circulating, meaning that they cannot be checked out and must be used onsite.
